Course Info
Comprehensive two-day course offering athletic taping, first aid and
cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who need training
due to work requirements or who want to become a well-rounded athletic
trainer.

Day 1
Athletic Taping Course (4 hours)
5:30pm – 9:30pm

This course covers many taping
techniques used athletic trainers in a sports environment.  Included is
practical instruction on taping, knees, ankles, elbows, wrists and
thumbs.

Day 2
Emergency First Aid with CPR/AED Level C (8 hours)
8:30am – 4:30pm

The course meets legislation
requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance
boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.

As of September 1, 2018, Canadian Red Cross Emergency First Aid and Standard First Aid courses are considered equivalent to Worksafe BC Occupational First Aid Level 1 for
the purpose of workplace first aid attendants.  And Red Cross courses
have the added benefit of national recognition, more flexible class
instruction, and they teach the critical life savings skills for all
ages, not just adults. (
