Canadian Red Cross Standard First Aid & Basic Life Support

Comprehensive two and half-day course offering first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who need training due to work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home.

The course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.

As of September 1, 2018, Canadian Red Cross Emergency First Aid and Standard First Aid courses are considered equivalent to Worksafe BC Occupational First Aid Level 1 for the purpose of workplace first aid attendants.  And Red Cross courses have the added benefit of national recognition, more flexible class instruction, and they teach the critical life savings skills for all ages, not just adults.
